Activities
Books, Nooks, and Cooks
This club is offered to 2nd graders. It is offered in the winter after school for 10 weeks. Students read books, complete a craft and make food that goes along with the book.
Chorus
Chorus is offered to 4th and 5th graders in the fall and to 1st through 3rd graders in the spring. Chorus members practice during their lunch recess and perform a show in December for the 4th and 5th graders and in April for the 1st through 3rd graders.
Mad Science
Mad Science is offered to Kindergarten through 5th graders. Complement your child’s learning experience with a Mad Science after-school program. Our unique approach gives children a solid scientific foundation that goes beyond the classroom. Children engage in hands-on activities, watch spectacular demos, and leave every class with an educational science take home.
Peer Mediation
Peer Mediators are chosen from 4th and 5th graders at the beginning of the school year. These students help other students solve conflicts among their peers. The mediators are trained on helping the students of DuJardin School. Staff members oversee this club and help students resolve their conflicts.
Student Council
Student Council is offered to 1st through 5th graders at DuJardin School. Representatives are picked for each classroom at the beginning of the year. Student Council sponsors many events throughout the year including: Wacky Hair Day, Pennies For Patients, The “Souper” Bowl Challenge, and Pajama Day.
Talent Show
Talent Show is a club offered in winter. Students try out for the show and perform in early Spring.
Yearbook
Yearbook Club is offered to 5th graders at DuJardin School. Students, along with staff members, use photos and computer skills to develop the Yearbook for the students and staff of DuJardin School.
Young Rembrandts
Young Rembrandts is offered to 1st through 5th grade students. Students who love to draw and illustrate will love this club. It meets after school throughout the year.
Renaissance Learning
Renaissance Learning is offered to Kindergarten through 5th graders. To accelerate learning for all children and adults of all ability levels and ethnic and social backgrounds, worldwide.
